Hello everyone.
How are you dealing with Canada post strike? I mailed out my first sale a couple days before the strike and now it's sitting in a local post office.
@TinyBlessingDesigns: This is not really a technical issue. You may find more help in a more appropriate forum such as https://community.etsy.com/t5/All-About-Shipping/bd-p/shipping?ref=gnav
@TinyBlessingDesigns I would NOT send another. Everyone knows that there is a strike in Canada. Perhaps politely remind her of that fact and mention that you shipped it quickly. Suggest that when it arrives, she can send it back for a refund at that time, if she decides not to keep it. I have three that are sitting in limbo as well that were shipped just before the strike began. None have contacted me so far, because, as I mentioned, everyone knows there is a strike going on! I now have my shop on vacation until the strike is over. Perhaps consider asking for a critique. There are many changes that would help your sales a lot!
Now that Canada Post has been back to work since last Tuesday, what is the delay with Etsy in issuing Canada Post shipping labels. I think Canada Post's backlog must be getting cleaned up because I shipped a Poshmark sale on Wednesday and it started tracking right away and looks like it will be delivered on Friday which is actually quicker than before the strike.
