I purchased a label about an hour ago and it had the normal discounts applied to level 4. I'm currently attempting to print another shipping label and no discounts are being applied so the label is costing significantly more than the customer has paid through calculated shipping. This is happening in 2 of my shops.
Are other Canadian shops experiencing this?

I ship from Canada using Canada Post shipping labels. All my orders to the US ship Tracked Packet for $7.84 using a weight of .09kg and 23x23x3 cm. I shipped an order on July 22nd for this price. Today the same service for the identical order is $15.73. All of the pricing for my Canada Post shipping labels has doubled overnight.
Is this a widespread issue? All of my shipping label pricing has increased drastically, even labels to Canada. Etsy support on the phone cannot figure this out. Anyone else having this issue?
Yes! Just got off the phone with Etsy support. Please call and have them escalate this. I can't ship anything. Rates have doubled.
Same boat here! The Etsy discount making tracked shipping through Canada Post seems to have disappeared.
oh no, and I was quite enjoying the new rates and shipping so close to home.
I just tried one. what was $8.79 yesterday is $12.08 today.
also weird that not all our increases are the same.
I am also having this issue. If you purchase your labels on the Canada Post site the discount is being applied but it is a pain to do that.
Same for me, as well - had to print a label directly from Canada Post.
I just had the same issue. It means to get a reasonable rate, I will have to sent "small Package". I also sent a message to Etsy through chat and hopefully they will see that it is impacting our sales. For now all I can do is go into my shipping settings and put in new amounts to mail from Canada to the USA.

So is this a temporary bug where the discounted rate isn't being applied?
Or are the discounted rates for whatever reason gone for good?
Will definitely impact sales for Canadians if it's the latter.
Etsy chat does not have an answer but at least it is brought to their attention every time someone reports their concern.
The person on Etsy chat did say it we bought a label from Etsy, even if it was not a tracking label, we would not loose points for the star badge.
I called, must have been a few people calling in at the same time. Eventually I was told that if we purchased a label at the non-discounted price, we would only be charged what the buyer paid.
