So I've been trying to upload a video to my listing and today the function seems to have just simply stopped working. I've contacted etsy but they can't help.
I'm uploading the same way I've always done, they are in Mp4 format and under 100 MB. I've tried on 2 different phones and my desktop, I've tried the site and through the app, I've tried a different browser and clearing cookies as well.
My business is gonna tank without video
etsy is a mess today.
i am unable to select a category to put my items in.
it says i have to create one.
even though i have 9 bazillion categories.
hopefully these are technical issues.
There is already another thread about this and a number of us have replied on it that we are having the same problem.
oh I see, that makes me a feel a little bit better
Yes, me too. I uploaded fine this morning and this afternoon, 5 did not load. Clearly an Etsy issue. I went from the app to my computer, same problem. Guess I will go have a glass of wine and hope for tomorrow. It may be an issue with the holiday and too many people on.
I hope it gets fixed soon, I really depend on the videos and it feels like im making cruddy listings
Yep, just discovered I can't upload videos.
ugh, ALWAYS SOMETHING ..... glad I am not alone with the video upload issue. good grief! I guess I'll work on something else and try later. thanks all!
Your business is going to tank without videos?
the OP has a gem store and videos definitely make a difference - especially the opal stones. It's just inconvenient to come back later and put the videos into the listings after the fact...
Video upload stopped working for me too. I have given a few attempts last few weeks, no success. I am following the guidelines with the size abut and cannot even upload a 1 second video - 204 Kb, tyny file. This is quite frutrating as just opened my store not long ago.

Having the same issue as you guys but my first video upload so thought it was me but it's 02/02/2024 now any news on this problem?
