Can't send messages to the clients since yesterday. When trying to do it, the red notification bar pops up. Saying that something went wrong. HELP

You're a new shop with one sale. Were you sending unsolicited messages to potential buyers? If so, your messages may have been restricted. Or are you trying to reply to a message someone sent and are they asking for your email address? If so, it's a scam and the senders account was deleted by Etsy.

You have only had one sale. If you were sending messages to people who have not bought from you and therefore are NOT your customers yet, this is not allowed. If this is what you were doing, you are most likely in "time out" and will need to wait for Etsy to decide to reinstate your messaging privileges. It may take a couple of days, or a couple of weeks. You may only contact people who have a current order in place with you, or who contact you first with a question. Even if people like or favourite your items, this does not constitute permission to message them.

you have 1 sale so far, but you are speaking of "clients", plural. Have you been communicating with more Etsy members here, and how did those conversations come about?
Could it be that you sent promotional messages to potential buyers? Then, they can mark you as spam, because it is not allowed here. And then, Etsy can disable your PM function.
If this is not the reason, contact Etsy via the help button in your shop.
If you need to contact your buyer, you can use their email address, that you find in the arrow beside their user name.

- Harassing or abusing another member or violating our Anti-Discrimination Policy;
- Contacting someone after they have explicitly asked you not to;
- Interfering with a transaction or the business of another member;
- Exchanging personal contact, financial or other information for the purposes of evading the checkout process on Etsy, including phone number, address, email, social media handles, external URLs, instructions for money transfer, etc.
