How much time it will take to normal?
bcuz I have an order enquiry.
Kindly reactivate now
@FireSolitaires No one here can reactivate your messaging abilities, only Etsy themselves. We are only other sellers, not Etsy support, we can only give advice or critiques.
Etsy can halt your messages for weeks, you just have to be patient and wait.
Yes I've had 2 people in the last few hours ask if I am still selling an item(don't know why they are asking?) Then when I go to message them to say yes. I get an error. I have never sold anything on the platform so have not sent any messages. Is this my 6th scammer im dealing with?
@DustyGypsyStudio Yes, that sounds like the start of a scam. If the buyer account is deleted then that's also an indication that there was possible fraudulent activity
Make sure you are aware of all the scam indicators.
Update. Went into the other app. Both of the messages accounts have been closed. Must have been a scam.
Ive received another request from a buyer who wants my email address in order to complete the purchase. This is the 4th time now. Is there an Etsy email address that i can refer them to and see if they respond so that so that we dont have to deal with all these scammers anymore
@AngelaByAngelaTito It's a SCAM. It's not a "buyer". Do NOT give anyone your email address. There are many posts on this in the forums. Etsy says DO NOT give out your email for a purchase. It's a scam.
@AngelaByAngelaTito >>>>> Place the scam message in your "spam folder" so it doesn't affect star seller status and do not respond to it at all.
it might be the problem of systerm.
No, these were scam emails. When you get the error, it's because etsy detected it was a scam and deleted the account.
OP, only Etsy knows how long they intend to keep you from sending convos. There was a time when a lot of new sellers from certain countries (from my unscientific notice, cause they sent to me...) would send unsolicited messages with coupon codes, etc...to shops as a way of promoting. I spam marked every single one of them. Too many spam marks and the shop gets put on the disability list. Too many also, depends on 'how long' they are there.
Not saying you did this, but if you did, that's why. If you did not send unsolicited email, contact Etsy and ask. No one here can help you. We're other sellers.
