Can't see when an item is in a potential customers basket anymore.

Hi As soon as my Cyber Sale started all info that showed that someone had an item in their basket has disappeared from my store. A little frustrating as I could see what is popular and make adjustments to encourage a sale to go through. Was just wondering if anyone has experienced the same issue.

There is only room for one line of text under the thumbnail -- and so the Cyber Sale takes preference over number of items in baskets

Once your sale is over, you will be able to see the item in basket info again

@AllThingsRetroStore: Plus the "in peoples carts" is a nudge for buyers not a tool for buyers. There is no indication or guarantee that the numbers are timely or accurate, or that all items which are in someone's cart will have that badge displayed.

That's not the point.  I agree with first lady.  I use it to gauge what are people are lookin at.  Also lets me know people are looking.  Sale or no sale it always showed up.  I feel this is another one of Etsy's Experiment's.  UGH UGH UGH

This isn't new. The in x # of carts blurb has always vanished when a seller runs a sale or offers free shipping or whatever else takes priority for the limited space under thumbnails. It's been like that since they introduced the in x # of carts blurb. It's not an experiment, it's just how it is set up and has been that way for years now.

I have had the same problem now for several months & I miss not knowing if someone has item's in their cart.I wish that it would come back.
