Can't reply to convos in mobile browser

Is anyone else having this issue?

I try to type in the reply box, but nothing appears. Forums work; it's just messages, which we're being graded on . . .

The Etsy app made my old phone unusable, so I'm not ready to trust it on the new phone.

I use firefox on my phone and have that issue.  Punctuation shows up, but no letters.

I've had to compose in notepad and paste in the reply box for a few weeks now.

There are numerous threads in this forum about various problems with the Etsy apps, most with no real solutions or workarounds. The consensus seems to be to manage messages (and orders) via a browser not the app. And there seem to fewer issues with desktop browsers than with mobile browsers.

I was thinking of a similar work around and glad to see it works @Smudgekitty .

Luckily I found this post, when I searched for "Can't answer messages with phone" the search results gave me every post with a "t" in it.

I guess they decided that was the most important part of my question.
