I found a way how it helped me.
It only works, if your AppleID is connected with a Phone Number though. If it’s not, connect it with one.
1. Find your Private Relay ID-Mail your device used when you first connected Etsy to your AppleID.
(For me it was clicking on Settings > My Name > Sign In with Apple > Etsy > Hide my Email)
2. Copy whatever is written after “Hide my Email”, it should look something like “(a lot of letters and numbers)@privaterelay.appleid.com
3. Find your way to Etsy, the front page, where you sign in
4. Paste in the copied Mail
5. Type in your App Password. It mostly is the AppleID Password. If not, do the steps below before signing in:
If your AppleID Password is not your Etsy Password, reset it. How to do this, I will explain in a second.
It can be, that just saying “Reset Password” won’t work, because you’ve connected your AppleID with it.
1. To reset the password and, most importantly, get the mail that gives you the chance to reset it, past in the Apple Private Relay Mail.
2. Let Etsy send you the Mail.
(Don’t worry, you don’t have to really log in the Relay Mail, Apple will send the Mail to the the Mail that you connected to your AppleID.)
3. Reset your Password.
(As Etsy is now logging you out everywhere, if you were still connected to the App, it will seem scary, but don’t worry.)
4. Just sign in with the new password and the copied Apple Private Relay Mail.
5. It will send you a code to your Phone Number. Paste that text in the Field, keep going and you should be logged in.
And then it’s best to change your Mail that is connected to Etsy. So you don’t have to go through the frustration again. (;
