Can’t get my core Details to apply from browser

Yes, hi I was previously able to create listings from my iPhone, which uses Chrome or DuckDuckGo and never had any issue creating the listing and applying the cord details which would be the physical item or digital item. I would press it then press apply and it would work. Now these last few weeks, I’ve tried to create a listing from my phone and I keep getting the same thing which is nothing every time I press apply. Nothing happens. I sit there for a few minutes. Nothing happens doesn’t matter which one I’m using browser wise. My cache is not the problem. I believe this is a technical issue. I believe that if they tried to create a listing themselves and use a browser from an iPhone they would probably end up having the same issue. I am because I said it previously worked before and then something must’ve changed in the last few weeks or a couple months since I’ve posted and listings never had a problem with it from my phone and now I am like I said it just doesn’t allow the core details to be added when I’m all done with the creation of the listing, and then it will not allow me to save it because I cannot add the core details so that I’m going through all the listing giving all the information and then at the end of it. I did delete it anyway because it’s not allowing it to be applied as a physical item , even if I tried the digital item button, it wouldn’t apply so if anybody else is having the same issue, can you please let me know and if there’s something that I might be doing wrong which I can’t see since I’m doing exactly the same thing I did for my previous six listings  I really appreciate To hear anybody’s feedback

Hi, Many Sellers are having trouble with Core Details. Here are several Threads about this; maybe there is something that can help you, I hope so.

Back in the Fall, when I created a new listing, I did as NanaLetha said (Copy > Edit, on a desktop computer). And I didn't have any trouble, but it seems like there is a glitch on the listing page for some, and it's crazy that people can't list. 

I hope there is something in the above Threads that will help you.

Use the duplicate feature on another listing, then edit the copy.

I would do that, but again it’s the button where it says physical listing and digital listing So there’s no area to put words in it otherwise I would. It’s a button that has to be applied. I appreciate the response

As I said, when pressing the apply button, it isn’t registering when you press apply it’s supposed to automatically apply it and then continue on, but it isn’t applying anything. It’s just staying in a frozen state except for the fact I can press the digital. It will highlight it or physical it will highlight it, but when I press the apply, it does nothing but grayscale out.

I never make a new listing. I always use the duplicate feature from a similar listing. I've never had to click "apply"

Well, I’m glad to hear that. I’m not the only one having the problem. I didn’t think I was but I do know I can use a computer and not have this issue but as I like the convenience of using my phone, I just wanted them to be aware that there is an issue and now that you said people are mentioning it at least now it’s out there and hopefully they can Fix the glitch/bug issue So thank you I appreciate the threads You provided thanks take care and have a great day

So after going through the threads and seeing all the information of people having the same issue, obviously the problem I have it’s where to post screenshot the team is asking for and more information on the stuff but where do you send the screenshots? I can’t even post A screenshot on this form so I did read That they did respond and they were asking for that information and asking for screenshots, but yet I don’t know where I would post the screenshots that I’ve taken. Do you have any idea where I could do that I really appreciate everybody’s help. Thank you.

@Crystalsgiftsforu  Re: Where to post screenshots. I've only done two screenshots in my life, and I always seem to have trouble with it. If Chat is asking for a screenshot, you should know they are not Etsy employees; they are outsourced. And they will probably give a generic copy/paste response re: the Core Details issue.
You could go thru Help > Contact Us via Shop Manager, but I honestly don't know that they would not do the same as Chat. The thing is, you can see by all of the Threads, this has been a ongoing for quite a while. Apparently Etsy doesn't see it as a priority. That's why I say, I don't know that I would bother with a screenshot. But you should do as you wish. If I had to choose one place, I think it would be Help > Contact Us.

Hi, so I couldn’t reply in one of your other messages. I do appreciate the information and I will tell you this screenshots when taking them on a phone. I’m not sure if you meant you don’t know how to take the screenshots on a phone phone or a laptop I do know how to do it on a laptop, but a phone if you don’t know, it is just a quick Squeezing the power button and the volume up real quick together at the same time and typically most phones, that’s how you get the screenshots but if you were talking about the laptop and screenshots, that’s totally different but again thank you for your help. I really appreciate it and yes, they should be fixing this issue and it shouldn’t have been all the way back in August that this has been going on and they haven’t fixed it yet, I found phones desktops settings, but I can’t do it on the iPhone no matter what I do I don’t, but from what I hear if you use it, vertical not horizontally. It actually will allow you to input all the information so if people read these hopefully they will see the way they can do it well have a great rest of the weekend. Take care thanks.

@Crystalsgiftsforu  If you're using chrome do you have a "screen capture" feature in the lower right corner? If so you can send support a screenshot of the area of core details that you can't complete.

So using my android phone I was able to do core details no problem when using desktop site through chrome but still having the issue with iPhone! Was glad to finally see that going into the dots where you can choose desktop site was a relief that there’s a way to choose the core details but for others who are in the same boat as I was earlier with iPhone I just hope that the glitch/bug gets fixed soon for others! Thanks everyone for your help today!

Actually, I have been able to screenshot. I just don’t know where to send it. I went into Help and contact and also the chat and I can’t seem to find a police that I can send a screenshot. If you have any information on that that’s what I’m looking for thank you so much

So I did get the suggestion that I need to go through certain steps in order to send it through their chat. It’s just not the regular chat that you have to go through the Help and contact and then fill out the form and then send in the screenshot, so thank you I really really appreciate everybody’s help.

@Crystalsgiftsforu  In your Shop Manager dashboard scroll down to > Help > Contact Us > Selling on Etsy > complete the rest. Once you get chat support you can send them a screenshot.

I’ve gone into the chat section but they explained that I needed to go else where but I’ll try that again and see if I’m doing the chat in the wrong spot! Thanks for your help!

I had this problem. Just fixed. Etsy fixed it at last. Core details page was frozen the attributes page could not scroll properly nearly a month. Last night was like wow where that come from back up at fully working. Thank you. Finally their .

I have issues with core detail on my phone and ipad in safari.  It has been going on for a while.  The pop up bubble is not comparable with the screen orientation and I have to rotate my screen to get things to work.  Silly that this has still not been fixed after months of reports

did y'all get this figured out from last week? i just went to edit a sold out listing before renewing with only making one change. i'm on my desk top using brave. after clicking on renew i got a red error message "please fix core details". when clicking on core details there's another red error message "this section is incomplete. please fix errors before publishing". there are no missing details or incomplete sections to fix. i've even tried deleting the previous details and then re-added them and am still getting the same core detail error messages.
