Can't download customers logo from messages

#1 Customer ordered a product with a custom logo on it. AWESOME!

#2 NOW MY IMAGES ARE COMING UP AS webp FORMAT

#3 KRRAP - I can't make this product because Etsy has made it impossible to get the tools that I need

#4 OH Wait - I can't ship it either... That's broke too!!

Any assistance on that webp format? Or should I just ask the customer to contact me outside of Etsy's messaging system?

Most graphics programs will open webp format - if not there are plenty of free (some online) programs that can convert webp to your preferred format.

Etsy has not entered webP as an alternative.  It's not listed so yes the seller will have trouble.

The seller will have to convert to jpeg or png

Just have them email it to you. Simple and efficient.

It's still in webp format which not everyone has a tool availble to convert if their system only uses jpeg and pgn

If the customer is sending a webp image then they need to send you something different if it doesn't work for you, if Etsy is converting their file when they send it then maybe they can send a zip file with the original file in it. Or email it.
