Can't buy shipping labels if it is an "Unverified address", even after editing address

Specifically "Unverified address", such as mistyped ones.

Example:
"1234 5thSt" instead of "1234 5th St".

Can only purchase a label if I do not edit the address, so clearly some weird issue that is specifically related to editing addresses.

I would suggest 2 different things. Go over to Pirateship and buy your label there. IT is free. The prices are either the same as Etsy or less and you can then come back and enter the tracking number on Etsy. (They used to integrate with Etsy but no longer for new accounts).

The other thing you could try if Etsy will let you print the label as the buyer entered it and the error is a small like your example I would just go ahead and print. Surely the Postperson can read that and figure it out.

Just in case...

When you 'edited' the address, do you then click 'Save'. 
I've had this same issue a few times, mostly as you mentioned there being no space between words.

Alas, I did indeed save the changes, but it seems specifically to be an editing issue for me. Tried Firefox over Chrome; no dice. First time running into this specific issue. I assume it is related to some earlier fix when no labels were purchasable. Holiday rush issues, is my guess!

@PyperPaper   All you had to do was edit the address.  Most times it is abbreviations such as North should be N.

You can also check USPS for addresses.

I also Google and that works to make changes.

You can change 1234 4thSt to 1234 4th st.  I have always been able to change spacing and usually the address is verified.
