Can no longer use the Star Seller chat option

The chat icon is still there. But when I click on it, my last conversation with customer service is still there, from a long time ago. There is no way to "end conversation." When I type something in hoping to get help, nothing happens.

Maybe it has to do with their business hours?  The chat is now closed here in the east coast, and the chat icon has disappeared.

No, not business hours. It's been like this for weeks.

This chat option had me feeling optimistic about Etsy's customer service improving. Really hoping they come through with fixing this.
