Can NOT Download Orders

I have tried several times this AM to download my recent orders to save to my computer. I have tried on both Chrome, and Internet Explorer. 

After hitting the download button, I get a message that says "File does not have permissions" on Internet Explorer, and when I try on Chrome it tries to download a "HTML" document they says File did not download, please try again later... 

I tried to restart my computer and try again and it did not change anything... 

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

What do you mean by download orders?

Instead of hitting the print button once the order opens I select the download button right beside the print button... This will save a PDF file on the computer then open up so it can be viewed in a PDF Reader.

I still don't know what you mean - did you buy an instant download and can't download it?

No, this is for orders taht I have sold in both of my shops...

I still don't understand what you are trying to download. What exactly is "download orders"?

Are you trying to download packing slips perhaps or maybe the order csv file from the 'Download Data' tab?

I am having the same problem. I sell on Esty.  To keep track of my sales, during the shipping process I save a copy of the packing slip to a file on my computer. I have done this for many years.  I save all my packing slips in files by year.  Does no one else do this? Currently getting this an error message "file is not available on site"  I can print, but cannot save.  Maybe I don't have to do this. Anyone's thought would be applicated.

I always save my packaging slip PDFs for orders too. I started doing that once after my internet went down after I had already bought shipping labels. So if that ever happens again, I can at least pack orders using the PDF if I cannot access Etsy.

I've been having something similar happen for a few days using the Brave browser. When I go to download the PDF of packaging slips, I get a "Failed-Forbidden" error. It's trying to download an html file instead of a PDF. BUT, I can use a workaround. The PDF does open in a new tab, so instead of choosing the download button, I can choose the Print button. Then when my dialogue box opens, I can save a PDF from there.

Having the same issue this morning.  I always, always save my orders as a pdf for record-keeping.  Will not download as a pdf, only as an htm file and I get the message that the "file is not available on site".  Has to be a huge glitch.
