Can I run two sales on the same product (different countries) same time?

I want to have a sale on one of my products but I want to have it only at a 45% discount in the USA since shipping is domestic. Problem is that I have the 25% sale going on at my shop for mothers day and I have a lot of Canada customers - so I want to keep this 25% sale going for Canada and all other countries that I sell to.  If I run a sale and only run it only in the USA will the other sale (25%) still run for my Canadians on the same product? Or does it cancel it out?

@spruceandsunshine: Unless something has changed (or been broken) you can run multiple sales at the same time and they will be presented to buyers based on the buyer's chosen location.
