I asked chat support about the listing issue that many sellers, including myself, are

having. Etsy is aware. I was told to tell you to go to chat support

and let them know what listing issues you are having.

You all keep forgetting it's the weekend. The IT person allegedly on this is probably some guy sitting in a kiddie pool in the Etsy rooftop garden, trying to fix this on his tablet.

Why bother, their apps and website are full of hair pulling bugs. There needs to be an alternative. Spent six hours of my life trying to post something. I got to the point I was so frustrated I decided I would save my listing as a draft.... Nope, can't even do that. Their software is crap, for how much money they take in they could be providing us with better service.

This thread was buried on page 5. The previous pages are littered with threads started Friday, or even much earlier, and the new ones are piling on.

There is nothing pinned by Etsy to this Technical Forum stating they are aware of the tsunami of glitches. 

If Etsy does have their tech team working on the issues, it would be nice if they acknowledged that they are aware of the problems.

Right now, everyone is left to wonder if or when this will be addressed.

I did the chat feature yesterday. It seemed like very generic responses and the responsibility to correct things was put on me. Suggestions were to use a different browser or clear my cookies. I’ve also seen shut your modem off and turn it back on and reinstall the app. None of those things worked for me. I was told it was sent to their “engineering department”

Talked to Etsy Help chat Saturday morning.  She said she would look into it - NOTHING YET!

I read through some of these, but did not see my issues, but I think it may be across the board, if that makes sense. I am unable to restock any listings this weekend. Is this what a lot of other people are dealing with also? I have restarted my comouter, updated, my browser, all the normal things.

I just contacted Etsy via chat.  The first person had never heard of the issue.  They added in another person, who acted as if it was new to them.  I specifically asked if they had heard of this before.  They finally said yes.

I wonder why Etsy will not post in technical issues...

Maybe they do not want any proof that something was wrong.

That explains my problem.  I went to bulk change some prices and it wouldn't do anything.   I decided I would do it one at a time.  All day long it was messed up.  When I would look at my shop the price was one price on my shop price and when I clicked on the ones I changed the price was 1.00 difference when I opened up that product page.  I eventually went in manually and just changed them all back, 82 of them.  I thought of going to chat with etsy but didn't think it would help at all.  I will never make that many changes at one time ever again.  I cannot believe etsy is such a large selling platform with so many problems all the time.  These are not minor problems.  These problems are causing lots of sales to be missed.

The pinned thread says when you try to renew in bulk.  It also doesn't work when you try one at a time.  Unless you go to the edit page.

The pinned thread ignores the other issues: Can't delete, can't deactivate
And the way it's presented... like it's no biggie because there's a workaround makes me furious.

Not to mention it's taken TWO DAYS to even get an acknowledgement that things aren't working...
What happened to the "improved customer support" promised with the increase in fees? They can't even keep chat informed of issues.

I'm actually trying to deactivate some expired listings. If they haven't sold on etsy, sometimes I'll list them elsewhere. I like to deactivate them as a "just in case" step to ensure they don't "accidently" get renewed. But by deactivating them I can still come back at some later date and relist them on etsy if I want to... without all the work associated with creating a new listing

Good to know it's finally been resolved. I see now that Ampersay from etsy posted it was fixed about an hour ago. I also note she coined a new etsy word for us:

renewaling

"...they've been able to identify the issue that was impacting bulk editing (renewaling, deactivating, deleting, editing tags/titles, etc) and we've implemented a fix."

The extra syllable emphasizes and lends additional importance to the action being taken!!   
(*** sorry... I just couldn't help myself ***)
