Buyers app not working UK - Lots of people having same issue.

The buyers app is not working in the UK. Numerous sellers and buyers complaining on facebook Etsy community groups that they can not search for products to buy and the app brings up a "there was a problem loading search results. Please try again" screen.  We have all followed the steps to clear the cache and cookies. We have even uninstalled and re-installed. Same issue. We all note a huge drop in the last two weeks of visits and purchases. As a buyer this in infuriating and as a seller its excruciating that sales maybe being missed. How do we get the problem looked at? I have an android phone if that makes any difference??

How do I contact the support team? I am going round in circles on the help page. I have the same problem with the app. The search hasn't been working all day

The buyer app is not working. The search function is not working.

I noticed this too yesterday but I've been busy at a staff training day for my main job.

It does not matter what search terms are used - the result of any search using the Buy on Etsy app (orange icon) is an error message. I was not logged in to the app at the time - I stay logged out for testing purposes.

I wondered if my app is out of date but I'm not sure how to force it to update.

I tried doing a forced stop, then restarted the device, but this did not fix the issue.

I'm using an Amazon Fire tablet which has been modified to use Google apps.

I'm also in the UK. Are we sure it's just UK users who are affected?

I just tested again and noticed that if I type in the search term myself then the error message appears HOWEVER if I choose one of the suggested recent searches in the dropdown list, then the result appear as normal.

@MischiefandRascal can you check the app again please? I just looked (quickly) and it's seems as though it may be fixed!!
