Buyer's personalization details are different on Mobile vs. Laptop

Buyer receives her item and says it's not as she left in the customization details. She shows a screenshot on her mobile phone and a heart is clearly between two initials.

I check on her receipt and order details on my MacBook and the heart isn't there. It isn't on the printed receipt either.

Is this because it's an emoji? I see hearts/emojis clearly in other personalization detail sections?

Yes, it's the emoji!

So bizarre... I have other buyers with emojis in the personalization section appear with no issue!

Re: Buyer's personalization details are different on Mobile vs. Laptop

I have never checked my orders on the app, but I have noticed odd characters on desktop before. I confirmed with customers that they listed emojis that didn't show up on my end. Usually they will show as rectangle blocks or even gaps. But I have other emojis come through just fine too.

On all of my custom items, I state that emojis are not supported & to not list them for personalization. Emojis are not fonts, you can't just copy & paste them like letters. Sometimes symbols will work, but it depends on the fonts you are using.

@theCopperPoppy: It could be a font issue - perhaps the exact emoji the buyer used is not included in the font you are using.
