My star status under shipping was dinged for not shipping on time after a buyer messaged and requested I hold it until she returned from vacation. It seems I was providing better customer service in doing so and not less. Is there any way to fix this?

Hey There!
The shipping score will base on the ship-by date set on the order if it is late or not. If a buyer requests to delay the delivery, sellers can update the shipping date once per order, see instructions at How to Set Processing Times and "Ship By" Dates.
If the ship-by date pass and it can't be changed anymore. Please note that Etsy Support can’t make changes to your Star Seller data or manually award Star Seller badges. Make sure to update ship-by-date for future orders that buyers will ask for delayed delivery.
