Buyer gift messages not printing message on the page

A buyer paid for gift wrap and had a message which normally used to print on the packing slip.

Today a bunch of Etsy promo and no message on it? I had to put it on myself??

Anyone else?

Anyone ship a gift with a buyer message lately and notice their message not on the printed sheet? Just lots of Etsy blurbs.

I use Pirate Ship and for a gift order, the first label is the shipping label, and the second has the gift message. Works flawlessly. Especially during holiday season when there's so much to double check.

I am in Canada and smaller town so options are limited however I buy my labels through Etsy. The second sheet is new with Etsy blurbs; "Enjoy your Gift From Etsy"?? Picture of item, Name, order # and description of item. Then 2 big sections "Meet your seller" and "What is Etsy" at bottom. No message that the buyer requested to put. I put the message on myself which I never had to before.

Have you tried saving as a PDF and then editing it? I like to remove all the crap at the bottom and if the message is actually on the slip, I format it it so it's nicer.

I have the full suite of Adobe products so ending a PDF is easy but I'm sure there are some free programs out there that let you edit a PDF if you don't already have the ability.

ETA: If the gift message is in the notes, I'll copy and paste it. My handwriting sucks.

Did the buyer put the message in the 'gift message' text box or did they use the 'notes to seller' box?

I'm not sure but it shows buyer paid for gift wrap and marked as gift. the message shows on my order and prints on packing slip only.

@DKVintageandBeyond  Sometimes I get gift messages in Buyer notes.

Look on order page under Gift details. It will have tags 1) Marker as gift 2) Message included 3) Paid for gift wrap.

If Message included tag is missing, then the gift message is in Notes to seller section and it won't show up on gift pdf page.

Yes. Glitchy stuff happening on etsy lately. It use to print the messages out but now it doesn't and another issue we had was marking a buyer as a repeat buyer when its not true.
