I have a buyer who says they can't access their current order with me. They could yesterday. Not today. I had them restart their device and clear their cache. Still nothing. I can see the order attached to their Message, so it's not a case of a different log in. They did NOT purchase as a Guest. The order shows nothing odd on my end.
I shipped their order this morning and their main concern seems to be knowing when it will arrive, so I directed them to the USPS tracking page and signing up there to get notified.
I get no hints of scam here, and if it is a scam, I don't get it.
I know I've seen threads where SELLERS can't see orders. But has anyone experienced where a BUYER can't see an order?
At this point, the order is shipped, so it is what it is. But it's got me curious.

Sounds like they are on their phone, but that's like half the people on Etsy. I'm sure it's just some hiccup, but it's just an odd one. Making sure I hadn't missed anything!
That is strange. I've not had that experience (as a Buyer), nor have I had a Buyer tell me this. Sorry this wasn't helpful.
I just had the same thing happen with a customer. Was yours resolved?
IDK. I think once she had the tracking, it wasn't really an issue for the buyer anymore.
Strange. In the past when there is a question regarding an order and/or shipping, I just forward the message they were sent with tracking info on the shipment and a copy of the packing slip.
This customer happened to be savvy enough to know to go look at her account to get the tracking data there. She was confused when she couldn't see the order. So was I!
