Anyone having issues with order notifications this evening? I have had a few orders each day this week with no problems. I got the “cha ching” order sound about an hour ago and the usual email for a new order but the notification said I had 2 new orders. When I went to my shop, it showed a 2 in the orange dot. When I clicked on the orders tab, it only showed one new order. Also, it showed it was a repeat customer but when I click the order history link, it does not show any previous order from this buyer. I even checked my label history for this customer name and address and it doesn’t show any past orders there either.
Now, the orange dot is gone, even though the order is still open. That usually stays until I fill the order/print the label which I haven't done yet. It still shows as a repeat buyer notice but nothing in the history. I cleared my cache, cookies, checked both my laptop with a direct link and on my phone via the app and it all is the same (two new orders but only one showing, repeat customer that isn’t a repeat buyer etc.) I also checked my finances section and it only shows the one order. I’ve never had that happen before, strange. I am just hoping I am not missing another order.
I wanted to update: It seems to have resolved itself. I now have the orange dot back. It is now correct showing the number 1 as I do have that one open order. It does still say it is a repeat customer but other than that, it is now back to normal for me. Both on the app and on the direct access to my shop via my laptop - both show the orange dot with a one.
There is another thread on here somewhere earlier where the seller had the same problem--another Etsy glitch I am assuming.
OK Thanks, I looked but didn't see the other post. Hopefully it is just that, another weird glitch. I was just concerned I was missing an order but since it isn't showing in my finances I think I am okay. Never had anything like that happen before.
The orange dot goes away if you click on the order itself. Can't address the other situation.
Not usually for me. The orange dot stays there until I print the label. I had a custom order on Thursday and the orange dot showed that open order until today when I printed the shipping label. Even my large order that take weeks to fill stays until I complete the order.
Every order I get in all 3 of my shops, if I click on and look at the order itself the orange dot goes away. Always has. I had one one a little earlier and the orange dot is gone.
