It seems like there is an issue in Etsy's system
Everyone here is just a seller like you, not an Etsy employee. You need to contact Etsy about this. Go to your dashboard and see if the chat bubble is there (it is for me). OR go to community>contact us and send a message. You will have to go thru a lot of screens but eventually should get to a page that gives you options on how to contact. IF you get an email (it will be sent by a bot, not a human) scroll down until you see "I still need help" tick that and send it back. You may even have to do this several times until you get to a human. Hope you get this sorted!
Best of luck.
thank you I'll try that in detail! Already tried to contact Etsy but still have no answer from them
@HappyHappyShirtz There's other posts from sellers having the same situation you're in. I don't think there's been a solution yet. In the meantime go to your Profile Account Settings and add your location so it shows under your shop name. It's important for search engines and maybe for the situation you're in now. Did you check the Help Center articles or request a call-back from Etsy?
Thank you SugarTaffySoap! Uggh it's so frustrating and sad, I hope this gets quickly fixed, I really need the funds
@HappyHappyShirtz I don't believe call backs are to Mexico, only USA. It could be there's just a delay on Etsy's end. Did you check the forum Announcement from an etsy specialist about updating bank info? Does your shop manager dashboard have a Community & Help>Contact Us ?
I'm really new to the Etsy Community, I'm still doing my research about this but can't find anything really useful. About 5 minutes ago I received an email response from their customer support saying "Upon reviewing your Payment settings on our end, it appears that the test deposit we sent to your bank was returned to us.
Unfortunately, we do not have access to specific details regarding why the deposit was returned, as banks do not disclose such information to us due to privacy reasons. To address this matter, we recommend reaching out to your bank to ensure that the information you have entered in your Etsy account is accurate and up-to-date. They should be able to assist you in updating your bank details appropriately.
You can update your bank details by navigating to Shop Manager > Finances > Payment settings on your Etsy account."
Which is really weird since I remember receiving a notification saying that my bank account was verified, I even received an email wit the "Your funds are on your way" Before experiencing the issue.
I tried to make it clear in the new email response I sent that the issue is that I can't update my banking info and that I need help with this, let's hope they can do something for me
Shop location? You are not in the US? You will need to contact Etsy and ask them to release your banking details so you can enter the information again. Contact us under Community in the shop manager.
If you have licenses to use the iconic images that are trademarked, it can be added to your about page. Also you will want to finish your shop policies.
What Does Etsy Withhold and Remit to Mexican Tax Authorities? – Etsy Help Etsy may also need this if you are in Mexico.
@HappyHappyShirtz When you reply in the forums to someone in particular put a "@" before their shop name, like I did with you, so they get notification that you responded to their post. Also, it's against policy to post an Etsy email in the forums so etsy staff may remove it. I do know that the name and bank info has to be "exact". So if your name is Jane A. Smith then that's what has to be in your shop info. Recheck this info just in case and then contact your bank and see how they can help. Explain you have another shop with no deposit issues. Hope this helps.
@SugarTaffySoap thanks again! My bad I feel like I'm doing everything wrong I'm sorry, it was just a small portion of the email, didn't think it would be a problem. Thanks again for the help!
@HappyHappyShirtz No worries. Hope it all works out for you.
Hola!
