Billing card problem

Has anyone else had issues with their billing card after it expired??? for months I had to keep readding my card, because my card would get removed & I get an email that says “make sure you get paid, theres a problem with your billing card” everytime, even though I updated the details & everything. I have no idea why this keeps happening, are the details not updating properly on Etsy’s end so they still see the old details? I have spoken to several different agents & they are helpless & don’t know the issue. I contacted my bank & they said my cards fine on their end. I hope I’m not the only one experiencing this, it’s very annoying!

I've not yet had this problem but if you have a different card you might try entering that one and make it the default.

I don’t remember!!! is Etsys system weird where I have to do it before??? even though I update the details each time I readd my card?

it’s so frustrating! I added a new card then re-added my original card to see if that helps

etsy sometimes copies the card in the purchase section, change it there first

I looked at my purchase section and can't find where to change card information.  How do you do that?  Thank you for your help, Karen

I believe I went to account information & they showed my payments there.

You have to have a default card in place for Etsy to bill you when needed.  If you are adding a new card, first add the new card, then refresh the page and you should see a tick box beside it to make it the default card.  Once you tick that box the new card becomes the default card and you can then delete the old one.
