Banner Uploading Problem (yes, I have searched online and here to solve)

Hello! I have created a logo / banner in Adobe Illustrator for my new shop.  I created them in exactly the document size required by ETSY (760x100).  I have **exported** it as both a JPG and a PNG (as I cannot save directly to a JPG or PNG directly from Illustrator).

However..... When I upload these onto ETSY, it looks normal at first - but the moment I hit the "save" button, the entire banner SHRINKS.  I have also tried creating a document in Illustrator using pixels (Etsy recommendation of 3360x840) instead of points.  That did not work either.  I have scoured the internet and the answers here at ETSY Forum and can't find a solution.  I do not have Photoshop.  I also cannot build the logo I have created in Canva.  Creating and uploading a banner for an Etsy shop should NOT be this hard in 2023.

Thank you in advance for any help or suggestions!!! My goal is to have my shop up and running asap and I have been working on this for a week with nothing but frustration.

Is it the banner you have in your shop at the moment? It doesn't look shrunk when I view it, if so.
