Bank verification needed/account not able to receive payments
I have been getting email that state I need to verify my bank account, but when I follow the steps in the email there is nothing there to do. I do not click on the link in the email because I don't want to click on it if it's fake, which it seems to be. Now I've received an email saying I can't receive payments on my account because I didn't verify it in the last 30 days. I have NO way of contacting Etsy to figure out what is true and how to fix this. Does anyone have any suggestions? If I click on my bank info in my account it tells me the bank account is verified.

Re: Bank verification needed/account not able to receive payments
1. Check the email sender's address very carefully. It may not be an Etsy email, in which case it's phishing for your bank account number. Some phishers change just one letter from the accurate Etsy email so look carefully. If it's not an accurate Etsy email, delete it and block the sender.
2. Etsy can be contacted. It just takes a lot of effort to follow their "help" links until you find a way to either email them or phone them. It's not easy but if you persist through all the obstacles, you can get through to them.
3. I would also let your bank know not to approve any payment amounts over a certain amount without contacting you for permission.

Re: Bank verification needed/account not able to receive payments
Have you already done the Plaid verification? If not, it is probably legitimate. As @wildwomanbeads said, check the headers of the email to be sure it is actually an etsy email address.
Often when you get an email from Etsy, the same information is in your Dashboard. Have you checked there?
To contact Etsy, go to Community & Help->Help from your dashboard. Click on any question. At the bottom there will be a link that says I Still Need Help. Click that. Change the subject line and tell them what your problem is. It can take 10 days or more to get a reply. Do not open any more emails until you get an answer to your original inquiry, or they will assume the first question was answered and will close it, then you will be kicked to the back of the line to wait your turn again for the new inquiry, starting the process all over again.
Chat is useless. They probably can't answer your particular question, so they will just send an email to Etsy on your behalf, delaying your reply even more.
Very occasionally, a phone number is available where you can request a call back. If that is available, (it comes and goes), that will probably get you the fastest response.

Re: Bank verification needed/account not able to receive payments
Well I sent an email in to support after hunting for the info. LOL I got a form letter back on how to verify my bank. So, in other words no one actually looked to see if my bank has to be verified again or not. I really wish they didn't make it so darn impossible to contact them for help.

Re: Bank verification needed/account not able to receive payments
@LazyDogDesignLLC You know, it should be easier to contact Etsy, especially pertaining to financial matters. And yeah, it's obvious that the email you received shows your email was not actually read; it's just a generic copy/paste.
There's another live Thread right now where the OP is having trouble with verification. I'm just sorry you're not getting answers.
If you haven't already, I would respond to that generic one, "I still need help; you did not address my problem".
I hope this gets sorted for you.
