Bank info glitch

Hello! 

I am trying to set up Etsy Payments, but it won't let me enter my bank info. I do to Payment Methods and scroll to set my country. Beneath that, it says my name, and then the save button. When I hit save a red banner appears and says that my bank account number isn't valid...But there are no boxes to enter my bank info. When I switch the country, boxes appear to fill in the bank name and number, but they disapear when I switch it to United States. 

I contacted customer support a few days ago, but no response.

You already have Etsy Payments. Your bank needs to be in the same country where your shop is located.

As above, you already have Etsy payments so it must have gone through and now it  won't let you repeat the info.  All is good it seems.

It says I'm not signed up and I never entered my bank info...

In another thread, a seller is having the same problem.

There is no etsy payments setup, because they moved to a non etsy payment country, whereby etsy gave them paypal only.

They cannot sign up to etsy payments, because they aren't in an etsy payments country.

Due to being setup in a former etsy payments country, its asking them to verify their info. Which they can't do because it says they aren't in an etsy payment country.

If any of this is similar, there's nothing anyone in the forums can do, and your only hope is to contact etsy, with screenshots and explanation and be prepared to explain it more than once.

The other seller has already done this many times, and cannot seem to get any human at etsy to understand that what etsy are asking the seller to do is impossible (screenshot of the impossible).

Thank you, everyone for your help. I got a reply from Etsy saying that everything is fine...

But when people try buying stuff it won't accept payment. I think I might jump ship or start over.

Etsy payments is working.  It might be just the banner hasn't gone away.

You entered your banking and credit card?  Did you enter your SSN or EIN?

If your items are not available you cannot have the listing up.  All items must be ready for sale.

Finish your shop.  You need your about page and shop policies.

No, there is nowhere to enter that information. Items are ready for sale. It's finished. It just won't let me set up payments.
