Bank Holidays

I have been penalised for "late" despatch but we were on national holiday in UK on Thursday 2nd and Friday 3rd May. How can this be remedied?

you have to put your processing times out, before the bank holiday.

Etsy counts weekdays, for all countries, it never puts in holidays, for any country

This has always been the case, so do what you do for what you have always done for Easter, Christmas, and all the other bank holidays

Etsy cannot keep track of all holidays for 200+ countries. The responsibility lies with the shop owner to know days that the postage system will not be open, and adjust their shipping times accordingly.

Actually etsy Can account for worldwide bank holidays - based on the country the seller is in  - its simple programming - ebay and Amazon do it

Amazon and Ebay can do it because they have different websites for different countries/world regions.

Etsy is only one website.

You are wrong,

When I sell on the Amazon or Ebay USA website, I only have USA holidays

If I sold on the Germany Amazon or Ebay Website, I would only have Germany holidays

Amazon and Ebay have different sites, in different countries/regions, so they put holidays in, depending which country's website you have signed up to, to sell on, and list on.

It's nothing to do with where the buyer or seller is.

Etsy only has one website, you don't have to sign up, and list separately to nearly 20 websites, to sell here, but that also means, we have to sort out our own countries holidays, which takes about 30 seconds
