Australian Sellers, Serious Bug with your Location. Many are shipping from "Iowa" "north carolina"

This bug was pointed out to me by another seller in Sydney...that my items were listed as dispatching from "iowa", his from "north carolina" - a potential buyer in Australia contacted him asking if he shipped to Australia! 

I might have figured out what the problem was - Free shipping! - turned that all off, re did all the shipping profiles...... and back to normal "shipping from Austalia" - lets hope it stays that way!!

Make sense now why there have been next to no sales in 2 weeks compared to 5-10. 

I contacted support  via chat and the response was along the lines of  "thank you for your feedback, we will pass on your ideas about the design of the site " ...I asked for the issue to be passed on to technical support........but dont hold your breath for things to change with this serious bug.

Woohoo. I've put my postcode back to what it should be and I'm seeing "Only delivers within Australia" in the Etsy app again. 

Well done to everyone for spreading the word and contact support. Especially @C20Ceramics for creating this thread and poking and trying to make sense of what was causing the bug. 

It's the middle of the night in New York so maybe they schedule the code to be pushed out late and the people who communicate these kinds of things are fast asleep : ) But the main thing is that it seems to be fixed.

I didn't believe in miracles but lo and behold... Etsy fixed something late Friday/early Saturday!!! Thank you to everyone who chipped in to get this noticed and finally fixed.

@AnniebelloPaper Yes it seems to be fixed in my shop too. Hope everyone is OK now. It would be nice to have an announcement from Etsy though...

@bobsiDi I'm not holding my breath for any public (or private) acknowledgement from Etsy, either about the problem or the fix.

Thanks for this, don’t t know if I’m having similar problem.. I’m new to this, I’m based in the UK . I have a few listings but I just I listed a t shirt, it gives a price of like 42 pounds.. can’t figure out what I’ve done wrong. My shop is moolywammoth if that helps.
