anyone else having issues with Australia Post International shipping labels? Domestic works just fine but since Saturday morning international labels fail to generate every time - have tried different browsers, have contacted support (got nothing), and have tried different settings.
please help!
Do you mean when buying Auspost labels through Etsy, or direct from Auspost?
If you are having trouble buying labels from Etsy, you can always buy direct from Auspost's website, or at the Post Office. Etsy prices aren't a whole lot cheaper really.
Yeah totally realise but with heaps of orders the process to copy the info from Etsy to auspost or do it manually at the post office wastes a day - it’s a technical issue with Etsy - and support has not been helpful.
totally agree with you, such a pain to have to go through Aus post, its been over a week now and still no resolution
@LostMiniatures I haven't used it but maybe the issue is tied into the Australia Post price update effective 1 July.

I buy my postage labels direct from Aust Post. I've found that they are cheaper than Etsy, you can fill the details on line and print straight away. Both Australia and overseas work quite well.
I don't use Etsy labels as they cube 500 grams and 1 kg parcels which doesn't work for me! I've always used MyPost Business. It's free to sign up. https://auspost.com.au/business/shipping/mypost-business
I just cut and paste the order details into the Aus Post order - takes no time at all.
You will be paying more using Etsy labels than setting up an AP business account......Etsy are forced (by AP to charge a fuel tax which only courier companies in Australia pay to AP) , and also Etsy apply GST after the total ....not IN the total as it should be.
All good feedback thanks, doesn’t solve the technical issue though.
Ive tried doing manually, integrating with other couriers but I can’t keep up with the orders if I manually produce labels - I’m paying the price for automation and speed.
hopefully the technical issues will be solved soon.
Etsy will never help you. That is what we are trying to tell you. I've given up after a very long time and countless times telling they are wrong 7000 sales here. They do not listen. So yes I sell on Etsy but I use mypostbusiness account or sendle. Etsy labels are crap.
I had the same problem yesterday - support's guess was a 'technical problem'. Advised me almost immediately to go elsewhere or maybe try again later. Despite my request, pretty sure the issue wasn't logged. Gave up and bought direct from AP. It's annoying when you try many times to purchase and no reason or code is given for purchase failure. There are other bugs with Etsy labels still not resolved (declared item value in AUD inflated to USD value on label, confusion over extra cover etc.)
I asked them countless times for help and that they are wrong. It has BEEN YEARS lol. I gave up. They do not listen or care.

Try Sendle? https://www.sendle.com/en-au
Their rates are often better than AUSpost and they can be setup to sync with etsy and import your orders, etc so you dont have to manually copy data.

I’ve used sendlebefore but have them to be more expensive.
@LostMiniatures
Fair enough! I think they have improved a lot and dropped prices to be more competitive. But ymmv depending on origin location
Seriously. You must be selling stuff really small. Because 500 g through Etsy is way more expensive than Aus Post. They also are making you want them to use their post discount because they are thieves!
