Assistance Needed: Product Listings Not Visible in the US on Etsy

Hello, my name is Fatih. When I first opened my store, I was selling rugs. However, I decided to change my category to DTF Transfers and updated my listings accordingly.

The issue is that while my listings are visible in my home country, Turkey, I cannot find my products when I search from the United States, even after browsing almost all pages.

I would like to understand whether this is due to a mistake on my part or if it is an issue with Etsy. Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your help!

If I set my region to US and then search for '22x24 Custom DTF Transfer Prints' I see your listing in the search results. What search query are you using to find your listings?

Try changing the search results order to 'Newest'.

New listings start at the back of the search placement and move up over time according to how many views, favourites and sales they get.

Hello, I was writing the sentences I added to the tags in the search section, but I did not mark the most recent ones, thank you for your support.

Add your location and shop policies for the EU/UK

I tried to find and could not locate through several pages and I am in the US.  There is a great deal of competition which may be the reason.  But I tried limiting to your location and you didn't show up but that may be because you lack a location of your shop.

I wonder if this is a case of your shop not being fully integrated.  It has happened in the past but I don't know how those instances were resolved.

Re: Assistance Needed: Product Listings Not Visible in the US on Etsy

Your titles are spammy and repetitive, which doesn't rank well in search. Some titles don't have proper spacing between words and punctuation, making them very hard to read - this may also confuse search engines.

Your photos aren't really photos, just text on a background. That doesn't rank well with the (very strong) visual part of search.

Your title starts with a spammy keyword list - something Etsy has SPECIFICALLY told us NOT TO DO. This is an automatic black mark against your placement in search. That description doesn't actually describe what you're selling in properly written verbiage, natural sounding language. Search engines look at the description to determine what you sell and you need to write it for humans, not robots.

The listing needs to have at least 5 photos to meet basic standards.

I've never heard of "DTF Gang Sheets". Do people actually search with that specific keyword?

Re: Assistance Needed: Product Listings Not Visible in the US on Etsy

@DTFCUSTOMTR: As pointed out, no location is not helping your visibility, but are you aware that Etsy requires that "your first image must feature a finished, customized item similar to what buyers will receive." https://www.etsy.com/legal/policy/listing-image-requirements/253962679005 This alone is probably hurting your search placement as the primary image is part of the search algorithm.

Due to "personalized searches" there are many many factors that affect listing placement and the relative weight of each factor probably changes constantly. Even exact word matches to your title no longer ensure that you will appear in search. This means that you need to initially drive your own traffic and sales so that the algorithm learns that people want what you are selling.
