When I try to pit in the privacy policy and save it gives me this message in the subject line ^. What is the issue?
Maybe you’re using some characters that can’t be read in the input field? Maybe *<$^. I’m just guessing.
I checked that and I tried putting just 1 sentence with no characters and was saying the same thing.
Did you figure it out? I’m bumping this up in case you didn’t and someone has a solution.
I believe it's an error with the android app. It happened to me but I logged in through my phones browser and was able to add the privacy policy.
@MagnoliaMoonTees : Are you having this problem using an Etsy app (on which operating system) or via mobile browser or desktop browser (which browser and operating system)? It makes a difference as to possible causes and potential solutions, otherwise we have to guess.
Hello, I am having the same difficulties throw the app, I can't fill shipping times, maybe I will try to add this information by my computer.
I have been having the same problem with the policy but I have also been running into problems with my shipping on the old app.
I believe with the new app coming out that some of the pitfalls of not maintaining the old one correctly maybe resulting in this.
I know that anything that I need to update as far as shipping or policies or anything of that nature I have to physically go to my browser and log in because the app just does not allow it anymore.
I am finding that the new app does not have all of the available pieces that the older app has so if they don't fix the older app then I will have to resort to just doing all of mine on my computer. That's not my cup of tea and I'm actually not happy about that.
