In some cases when I run the sale, I add conditions to the sale. According to Etsy, "This info will show on eligible listings during your sale.". Unfortunately it's not visible anywhere or at least I can't notice it.
To add some details: to check my listing after setting up a sale I open icognito tab and change the country to one where the sale applies.
I thought that if the information wasn't visible on the listing page, it might appear during the buying process, but that doesn't seem to be the case either.
Does anyone know where those sale terms and conditions are displayed? If they are not visible, then what's their purpose?
you have put them in FAQ
you need to add a right to withdraw policy.......
settings - policy settings - cancellations - scroll down - right to withdraw
a dgpr policy, same place but click "privacy" at the top
and your address and e-mail address in sellers details
@DABSTORY As far as I know those are only visible to you. I always leave that part blank when setting up a sale.
If that's true then Etsy gives the sellers very misleading information. This is what is written under "Terms and conditions (if applicable)" in sale settings:
"List any additional restrictions or terms you want your buyers to know about. This info will show on eligible listings during your sale."
How is the buyer supposed to know the terms if they don't see anything? Such a bummer.
I've done that a couple times (added "conditions" to my coupons) and have never seen that info shown anywhere (listing or checkout). But it must be shown somewhere because I have had customers message me about my conditions. Weird!
