Apple ID not working!

I’ve been going round in circles with this issue. I use my Apple ID to log into my Etsy account and it’s stopped working for no reason. Luckily it is still logged in on my app which I’m using and on my phone safari browser. So I’m relying on my phone to run my shop. Anywhere else I cannot login I’ve tried various laptops and different browsers etc. When I try and login it says it’s verifying and just takes me back to the sign in page. Any suggestions I’ve contacted Etsy but had no reply. If I lose or break my phone I’ll have no access to my shop, please help!!!

@BagmakerSupply  my Apple ID is working fine everywhere else including on laptop desktop etc it seems like it’s an Etsy glitch

Hi guys, so heard back again from Etsy, and I'm back into my shop via desktop.  Etsy was able to change my email address from their end, so that I can once again access my shop via desktop (not utilizing the Apple ID and password but with a new email and password) which is now open in my browser.  Happy, happy, happy!!  The response came from Lester (very helpful) at support@etsy.zendesk.com.  Best of luck!!

Same since last week.  I’m still waiting for a solution.  I sent pics and video to Etsy support.

Yes I’m still waiting for a solution. Etsy support have finally been in touch but don’t seem to grasp what the issue is. I’ve just had a message from them telling me to put in my Apple ID password…. Really getting frustrated at this point. Hope you manage to get some help!

I was able to get around this by using the email address associated with my Apple ID. It is the [Random Characters]@privaterelay.appleid.com. I used that email and selected forgotten password to reset it. This worked for me because the emails for my Etsy go to an @outlook.com address and the email to reset the password was sent there also. I was able to reset my password and then change the email associated with my account to thebadyeti @ outlook.com. Now I'm back into my account without the Apple ID email being associated.

I had the same issue and couldnt login with Applle ID.  Contact Etsy support and ask them to associate the existing account with a new email.

(i gave them the “random letters@privaterelay.appleid.com” address.

After providing some verification details they sent me an account verification email.  Then I was able to change the password and login.

I think I figured out a solution!  Go into your mobile etsy app and look to see what your apple ID private email is under account settings.  Use that email address in your computer browser to reset your etsy password.

Thanks I will try that.  It has been 3 weeks for me and 3 diff people emailed me asking me to send them a screenshot but still no solution.

This happened to me, so I found this thread after fixing it. On my iphone, I went to Settings > Apple Account, iCloud, and more (at the top where your name and picture are) > Sign in with Apple and scrolled down to Etsy. I copied the "Hide My Email" address (letters and numbers @privaterelay.appleid.com) and pasted that into Etsy to reset the password. The password reset link went to my apple ID email and I reset the password. It did log me out on my phone and I had to log in using that same private relay email and my new password, but at least I have access now.
