This happens off and on. Like others have said, you should probably check your shop in a browser once a day to keep up on everything. Messages do not always come through correctly, either, and you want to respond to those within 24 hours. The last time I had an issue with the app on my iPhone, I was directed to uninstall the app, clear the cache, and then reinstall the app. I had to take it a step further when I had multiple shops, though, and log completely out with all shops and then after I reinstalled, I needed to log back into them all again. I started getting notifications for the different shops after that, not just the last one I was logged into. The funny thing is that the entire app ended up messed up because I got a notification for a different shop than the last one I was logged into, but when I went to checked the order, it crashed the app, and I couldn't even get into my main shop after that.
The weirdest things can cause an issue. My iPhone will also randomly turn notifications off on various apps, so it's not just Etsy that has issues!
