I sent a message within Etsy to a customer this morning, and I suspected something was wrong, so I emailed her, and sure enough, she didn't get the message I sent on Etsy. I suspect the same thing happened a few days ago as well with a different customer. The problem doesn't seem to be when I reply to a message a customer has sent to me, but when I create a new message to a customer, it seems not to be going through. Am I alone?
Was she on Etsy when you sent the message? Is it in her account? A buyer has to set up to get messages in their email.
Maybe keep an eye out for other threads to see if they report experiencing the same.
Yes, it is has been weird and glitchy lately. Guest and regular accounts. Not 100% of the time, but enough that it is quite noticeable. Edited to add: I have several messages back and forth with each customer, because my shop is wedding favors. So there are mock ups and questions, etc. And for YEARS it was VERY rare to get a miscommunication or glitched message. But the past week has started to be more like 20-30%.
