I am wondering if anyone else is showing some issues with their listing page? I put some listings on 4 days ago and they are at the top of the page of my listings, I then added 4 more yesterday, they disappeared below the 4 from four days ago, and same today with a cuff bracelet I listed. All the listings are showing Feb 28 2025 expiration dates, new listings are showing Feb 28, 2025 for every listing that I recently put on. I put some on 4 days ago and Feb 28 expiration date, I put one on today and Feb 28 expiration date. Last time I checked if you do a listing 4 days later that should be a March expiration?
It is like the 4 listings on my first page are stuck there, and everything I list afterward goes below somewhere. Whereas previously it would be the new listing at the top row. The cuff bracelet I put on just a bit ago went next to a jewelry lot listing I put on some days ago. Also wondering if this effects the updates, as if the items are being pushed down the listing page, will it show up in the updates as a new listing today?
It's 4 months, not a number of days, and we are still 30th October, so your expiry date won't be March yet
It's because February is a short month
so quite a few of the last days in October, will all have 28th Feb renew dates
That makes sense with Feb being a short month. But why are some of the listing not going in the right order on my listing page?
I guess as long as they are showing up no matter what order they are in that is better then not showing up at all.
They will all be the same date,
and then listed by time, so it would depend on time of day you renewed them, if they are before or after the others with the same date
I've always had some listings get stuck on Feb 28th ... I consider them a bonus. Doesn't seem to hurt anything.
If Etsy catches it they bill you for all of the past renewal fees that didn't happen.
Your cuff bracelet is listed first. I am set to most recent. Appears it is adding just fine from what I see,
Thank you for taking your time to check, it is appreciated. Maybe I need to clear out my history and delete my cookies or something, or get new glasses LOL
It happened to me that way as well.
and NO THIS is NOT accurate, the time of day had nothing to do with it...then listed by time, so it would depend on time of day you renewed them, if they are before or after the others with the same date.
Must have been a glitch, it still happening for me.
@wilshepherd it's not a glitch. It happens every year at the end of October. Your listings are good for 4 months not a certain amount of days.
Thanks, After 15 years and 10,000 sales, I am quite aware. NO, New Listings are showing up completely out of order, with no reason as to where they are landing. There is No sequence or reasoning to their positioning. I have Renewed about 15 Old Listings this morning, I just posted a new listing now, the new one is nested into yesterday's renewed listing, NOT todays, not in order of posting. New listing is nesting very much Out of Order. But thank you. Not sure how you are able to see how my listings are lining up.
@wilshepherd I looked at your shop and sorted by most recent - I did not go past the first 3 - they all say Oct 30th for a listing date.
I am NOT discussing my Public Pages, She and I are discussing listing within our administrative Listing Pages, and YES a new listing from 10 minutes ago is nested 30 items down from renewed listings today, in with the items, I Newly listed yesterday. VERY much Out of sequence.
this has been happening to me today and yesterday. new listings are showing in the correct order on my shop page, but are out of order on the listings page.
@giftedboxes @FancyShmancyNotes @CottageintheCove
on the listings page they will be shown in the order they will expire,
so a listing renewed yesterday evening, at 7.00pm, will expire on 28th at 7.00pm
a listing renewed this morning at 10.00am, will expire on the 28th at 10.00am, so it will expire before the one listed yesterday evening, not after
Yes, I am having the same issues.
Does it matter? Every new listing this month done on the 28th to the 31st will all renew on Feb 28th.
This happens often with Feb 28th expire date, the listings will be in order on your shop page but they are never in order in the listing manager.
They are in order on the listings page, and the shop page.
The listings page is sorted on date/time of EXPIRY
the shop page is sorted on date/time of RE-LISTING
both pages are correct, although different
..........
a listing relisted 7.00pm last night will expire 7.00pm on 28th
a listing relisted 10.00am this morning, will expire 10.00am on 28th
so they will show correctly on both pages, but in a different order
They have never been in order on my listing page, my new listings are sorting into the middle of the listings that are dated Feb. 28
they are all the same day for expiry, so they are in TIME order for the 28th
as it's the middle of the day, they will be in the middle,
ones relisted now, will be expiring before the ones listed yesterday evening, but after those listed early yesterday morning
