Anyone else having issues connecting to Shipstation?

I've used this platform for the last 4 years and this is the first time I've had issues with it syncing. The message I am getting is: 
"GatewayTimeout : {"message":"The upstream server is timing out"}

I am hoping this is just a temporary blip.....

A lot of us are also having an issue synching with square. I have a market today and cannot synch my listings to my square so that I can sell in person. Additionally, Etsy will charge an additional $.20 for listings sold in person not synched with Etsy.....

Can't help, but I always wonder why Etsy sellers use outside Shipping when Etsy labels are quicker, cheaper and much easier to use.  Personally, I would even use Etsy labels for eBay sales if I could...LOL

Quicker and easier is matter of opinion. I personally dont care for Etsy shipping, i find it cumbersome and unorganized. Its not cheaper. Etsy gets the same basic discount that most other commercial carriers get. I sell on 5 marketplaces so i needed something to tie them all together. I also have anywhere between 75 and 150 items a day to pull and ship. Shipstation has a "picklist" function to aid in that, Etsy does not. Shipstation also has robust reports that I use for anything from inventory control to taxes. Etsy reports are almost nonexistent. SS also offers more 3rd party integrations like MailChimp, branded shipping and delivery notices and automation rules.
