My wife has a shop that someone else logged into. She missed the email about it and the day after the attempted log-in, her account was temporarily suspended "due to suspicious activity". It's been nearly a week now and despite contacting Etsy daily about it, they have done nothing bit send copy-paste responses in their emails saying "hey! your problem has probably resolved if not try this link to reset your password" but the problem is that she cannot sign-in.
I'm posting this is also because she cannot sign in to the community.
Where is everyone?
Did Etsy just disband their customer service department? Are we on our own to fight it out with whatever lazy AI assistant they've employed instead?
My wife has customers to reply to and is losing money all because someone tried to hack her account and Etsy won't take it seriously.
Has anyone had similar experience on Etsy?
I've found their callback service surprisingly fast and helpful https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?segment=selling#issue_sell_manage_listings-callback they usually call back within minutes.
I had issue with signing in this morning, both app and website kept giving me error codes while trying to sign into the community and that I should contact the systems admin for further help. Had to do an online form and was given a response window of a day or two. Yikes!
Within the hour, I received an email from Sandy at Etsy with several solutions to my problems and alternatives to contact them again if the problem persist.
Ive read loads about ppl having issue with customer service, but I can honestly, this was my 3rd time this year having to contact them ( in accordance to their procedures) and all went very smooth and no hick ups.
I got a call back in less than 5 minutes today
Chat and call back is working for me, got a response within minutes!
