Is anyone working on the thumbnail pictures showing up as black, extra large or just blank? This issue has been going on for days and no updates have been given.
My black photos now have a bright pink line at the side of the photos.
My bestseller has it. I usually get about 100 or more offside ads per month from that listing but I haven't had ANY offsite ads in a month since it started.
Photos that appear black or pink or weird won't be eligible for Google or Facebook ads.
@ElvenstarDesign This is what makes it even weirder and more frustrating. I went through your Shop and see no problems with your photos (desktop computer, Chrome, Windows 10). But you are seeing a problem, which shows us every User is seeing things differently. And we have no ide what potential Buyers are seeing.
Thank you both for checking. I've got two in my other Etsy shop as well, both vintage Sphinx pieces, which are showing as blanks as well. I wonder when this problem will be fixed.
@ElvenstarDesign I've noticed the magenta lines too, on my own listings and other shops. If it stops me getting charged for off-site ads then that might be a silver lining - lol.
Same here. Everything was fine for many days but today I have one zoomed and blurry and one grey. The same listings as last week. That's very annoying!
@packagery I looked at all the pages on your shop and everything was displayed normally for me.
It seems that we don't all see the same thing, which is even more weird. This randomness, and the fact that it's been going on for so long, isn't exactly reassuring.
I've checked your shop, BoudoirPrive, KarinaMercier, and homegrownhat shops for thumbnail issues. I see no problem with any of them displaying usual or blank thumbnails. I scrolled through all the pages. Truly strange. A couple of weeks ago I had 4 thumbnails that were black and 2 that were zoomed in. I readjusted each of my photos by editing each listing, clicking on the "adjust thumbnail", readjusted photo no matter what I saw, saved the listing, refreshed home and the photos all look good. The edit worked and I haven't had any issue with those or any other thumbnails to date and hope I don't in the future.
@DazzlingAccents I tried to readjust the thumbnail and it worked, I see the pictures properly now. Thanks for the tip! It can't be a long term solution thought, hope they'll fix it soon!
@KCowie On, the first page of your shop, I see a blank white square for your 2nd featured item. And I see two blanks on the last row, one grey and one beige. I had a quick look at other pages and saw few other blanks as well... I'm on Chrome.
@KCowie I went through your Shop and am not seeing any blank photos. As @KarinaMercier said, it's random and everyone is viewing something differently. *(Desktop computer, Chrome)
