Answer to first review question on Etsy app becomes the overall star rating.

When using the Etsy app, customers who go to review a purchase first get the question "how well did the item meet your expectations?" - the customer's response to this question becomes the overall review! The second set of star ratings the customer gets don't factor in at all. I sell fragrances so whether or not a product meets a customer's expectations is completely subjective!  Customers unknowing leave 1-2 star reviews when they write positive comments. So frustrating!

Unfortunately, they may have intended to leave a 2 star review due to their personal taste in strength of floral scents. I can understand your frustration with the 2 star review. I would take it as...at least they commented on the 2 star rating since they did leave a rather kind comment.

You could reach out to them asking what improvements they may suggest as you strive for customer satisfaction & excellent service that would lead to a growing business with good reviews. Hopefully they would rank the review higher.

Personally, it would not prevent me from buying it due to the review since the description does say floral scent. Everyone's preferred taste in the strength of scents varies greatly.
