Another Shop's Message Counted Against Star Seller

Hello,
I noticed today that I did not qualify as a Star Seller for Etsy for the month of November due to message replies. I have been a Star Seller for many months and reply to all of my business messages quickly, so I took a deeper look into what caused me to miss the mark in October. It was from a message sent to me from a purchase I made, not to me as a seller or contacting me about my business. The message was requesting that I leave a review for the shop that I purchased from, and did not require a reply, nor did it align with anything related to my shop or business related.  I reply in a timely manner to all my other messages and am disappointed that other shops sending messages to me for a personal purchase would count against me.

It's all messages.  It doesn't matter if those message are shop related or related to your purchases.  You can mark those messages as spam or you can open a buyer only account to keep those messages separate or log out when purchasing and buy as a guest.

Mark it as spam and it will take it off your total. You will not get a star retroactively this month but you won't have to fight it for 2 more months. You have to answer ALL first messages no matter who sends them ( or spam them) within 24 hours. It can't tell a buyer message from a seller message. Consider opening a buyer account and taking care of all your purchases through that account and you can ignore messages if you wish and it won't count against your shop.
