In the last few days my announcement at the top of the home page has gone to the bottom my home page where no one will see it. Did miss something? Is there an option to have it at the top? I would appreciate any info or help.

Of course you are right we sellers should not have to work out problems .Some time ago the item description was moved down to the bottom above the reviews that was an even worse faux pas I hope Etsy will correct this issue. I believe that there is some software that can make this process easier, but for the time being I'm creating it myself with some effort. Please fell free to check it out!
Mine keeps changing from day to day, sometimes hour to hour. It’s at the top and then at the bottom, top, bottom, top, bottom, rinse and repeat. I don’t understand how Etsy can possibly think that having it at the bottom is a good idea.
Just had a buyer who didn't realise that I ship from the UK and was rather put out about it. It clearly states in my 'About' section that I ship internationally from the UK, but the buyer didn't see it because it was way down the bottom of my shop front page. Not the buyer's fault nor mine.
