Hello everyone. I'm so happy to be a part of this delightful and helpful community. I just joined you and I want to tell you about what happened to me in case it helps. In the first minutes I opened my store, an account named "ETSY" sent me a message that I had received an order and asked for my card information. Fortunately, thanks to the information I read on the forum, I knew that orders were not reported like this. Please be careful of these scammers if this happens to you. By the way, I sent the message to the spam box. Good sales to everyone
Excellent news that you were aware of these prolific scams! Some Sellers have lost thousands!
I'm so sorry for those who lost money. Sellers should be aware of this because I can imagine how exciting it would be to make the first sale.
that's horrible! why pick on small businesses? it just seems so lowdown.
Excellent news that you were aware of these prolific scams! Some sellers lost too much
thanks. It was probably a good idea to browse the forum
I'm glad you spotted it.
There are a lot of dishonest people on Etsy at the moment. You may not believe this but some even sell items from Aliexpress or Shein pretending they are handmade. Imagine a customer opening their parcel only to find that they have been scammed by the seller. Then they think that everyone on Etsy is as dishonest and they stop buying from there. Honest sellers make fewer sales, and can't pay their bills anymore. Awful. Be careful!
What you are talking about sounds very bad. But people don't care what anyone feels anymore because of money. I hope we always meet honest people.
Just because they sell my product there doesn't mean it's not mine. What you did is so sad
@ByGoland you need to file a DMCA on ALiExpress to get that removed then. There are Etsy bots checking for things showing on other sites, and removing rightful listings on Etsy.
What @ReginaldSpleen did was not sad - now you know your brand new listing has already been stolen.

Öneriniz için teşekkür ederiz. Keşke herkes senin kadar nazik olsa.
So you are saying that you designed it and made it and they are selling it on your behalf?
Or that you designed it and they made it and are selling it on your behalf? (If so you need to say this in the listing).
It's possible, but I am sceptical.
No one here has to convince you. As far as I understand, you have set yourself a mission to put people under pressure. I opened this topic only because I wanted my friends on the forum to not be harmed, and you come and attack me. You could have been more polite.
What he posted was 100% polite.
It's unbelievable that those Ali sites can latch onto listing so fast!
I was polite, I was direct.
I am only trying to protect the image of Etsy. The influx of resellers and people using others intellectual property has meant that fewer people are shopping here.
Which means legitimate sellers suffer. See all the 'worst year ever' posts.
If I do come across as rude it is because I am angry about people jeopardising my livelihood.
I don't agree with you, but I understand your concern. As far as I can see, you are a salesman who has streamlined his sales transactions, but I am very new and cannot yet make clear judgments like you.
Wait - why was the listing removed?
because I was afraid of being suspected. I will post my list with inimitable photos.
If you are making these and Aliexpress has stolen your pictures. I will be very keen to give you advice once you relist.
I would suggest in the first instance contacting any shop on Aliexpress, you can find them by doing a reverse image search. Then send a message to each shop saying "This is my design, I have not given you permission to use it, please remove it immediately". I did this a few days ago for one of my designs, of the 8 shops I contacted 7 have already removed my item.
Then include photos and ideally videos of you making the item in your Etsy About Me.
How do I make sure they don't do this again?
You can't. All you can do check by reverse image searching every so often.
Some people don't bother and just make sure they keep coming up with new designs or are unique enough not to be copied.
Well played.
