As someone said I think this relates to a "test group" in which you are being involved. Test Groups 1-5. Since we had no sales today I would say test group 1., where I am apparently at, is having ads broadcast only locally again. Great. If we give them money for ads we should be broadcast everywhere ads go or at least asked if we wish to participate in these testing adventures which most of us would not wish to.
Fix it.
While you're there, fix alt text which is kind of important for Google.
And fix the fact that when I set up a sale, it won't let me scroll over the whole list of sections I could add because on the desktop the pop up is cut off so I have to add something from that section so that section shuffles higher so I can finally select it.
And fix the custom order thing you broke because it doesn't include shipping.
And the way on the new shipping page you made it impossible to click on an invoice number when you're doing a shipping label so you have to open a new window to see how much they paid because for some reason it won't autofill. Thanks.
It seems like every seller that posted is seeing the same thing so we can probably rule out testing.
"1" Here...Why??
Etsy flipped a coin and it came up heads, so they tried out something confusing. Tails and they would have waited till next week to do it.
Well, it makes as much sense as some other things they tried.
@BuyfromGroovy In your Shop Front, I see 1. on every listing, under the Title. When I mouse over to see the entire Title, the 1. does not appear.
On my Home Page, I don't see Titles, but on many of the photos, there is only a 1. Strange.
ETA: I have this on my listings as well. On my Shop Front, clicking my Sales No., all of my listings show with 1. under them.
______________
ETA Again: A few days ago, in my Shop Dashboard (Left Column), The "E" by my Shop Icon turned black and white (it was orange). Not relevant to what we're discussing, but it was odd; to me anyway). It's too early for Halloween....isn't it?
@ChillwolfArt Yeah, I noticed the b&w E the other day too. Thought something was wrong with my computer.
I could be wrong, but I think the lettering on the left side list of dashboard sections got a little smaller, too.
"ETA Again: A few days ago, in my Shop Dashboard (Left Column), The "E" by my Shop Icon turned black and white (it was orange). "
Yes!!! Mine changed a couple of days ago and is still black and white. The font is smaller and slightly different as well. Other bits of my shop manager layout appeared a bit off, slightly different layout or positioning of things as well. most bits are back to normal now except the E being black instead of orange and the font change and size.
@TheVintagePineapple We were typing at the same time hehe Thank you for confirming that the text and font looks smaller to you too! I thought I was going nutty (nuttier? lol)
i have the "1." also
The 1. are now gone from my listings.
@TimelessTreasuresVCB Yes they are....Hmmm.
ETA: On my Shop Front, under Sales No., the 1.s are now gone. Replaced by "Sold".
This is probably #36 on Etsys To Do list. It gets longer by the day.
Less than two minutes ago, I had the ugly "1"s on my shop and saw them on others shops. Now they're gone from both my shop, and other shops.
Yes, same here. On my Shop Front, under Sales No., the 1.s are now gone. Replaced by "Sold".
The numbers have disappeared for me, too.
Is this new,though, or have I not noticed this before- when looking at listings in search, when I hover over the listing, the photos change and flash through, showing all the pictures one after the other, without clicking on the listing.
@TimeSpanTreasures Pretty Avatar and Banner!
It seems like that flashing picture switcharoo was a thing a while back; and then it was gone.
Thank you!
I never noticed this before.
It's interesting, good to show all the pictures, I think, although it will probably mean less views, since a potential buyer can see all the pictures easily when browsing, if Etsy keeps it.
We identified the issue and resolved it. This should be back to normal. We apologize for any confusion or disruption this may have caused!
Thank you for the reports, everyone!
Guess it was too quiet here, they needed something for us to talk about.
Yah, it's fixed! Thank you tech team!
