As someone said I think this relates to a "test group" in which you are being involved. Test Groups 1-5. Since we had no sales today I would say test group 1., where I am apparently at, is having ads broadcast only locally again. Great. If we give them money for ads we should be broadcast everywhere ads go or at least asked if we wish to participate in these testing adventures which most of us would not wish to.
We identified the issue and resolved it. This should be back to normal. We apologize for any confusion or disruption this may have caused!
Thank you for the reports, everyone!
Yes, same in my shop. An Etsy glitch?
yes-I can see it-and now its happening on my shop too.
I am seeing the 1. in your shop and mine under the listing title. At first I wondered if it refers to quantity available, but that is not the case since it is on my listings that have multiple quantities available.
On my search page all the listings have a 3. instead of a 1.
Ah yes, I see the 3 on the search page too.
@ZehOriginalArt - yes I tried to rationalize it as well thinking maybe it was a tech boo boo and referred to the page the item was on. However, that's not it because even on the last page of my listings, everything ends in 1.
I have 1. in one shop and 3. in the other.
Some kind of placeholder and a programmer screwed up. In other words, it's Thursday.
or just etsy any day. pick one.
Thursday. LOL, more like another day that ends in Y here at Etsy.
Yes!!
@SterlingWholesale - that is probably about right lol I think you cracked the reason.
I thought they normally did these kind of screw ups on Friday afternoons, right before they all leave for the weekend.
What the heck?
Second line of the product title just has a "1." Stop mucking about with the site!!
Happening to me too.. Two different browsers.
Yes, its showing like that on mine and all the shops I see as well.
Me too! Just another one to add to the long list of things Etsy need to fix!
Yes, me too. Looks like there is only one available.
Yup! Here too. Just noticed it.
It just started for me. I listed an item and the 1. wasn't there. Listed another item and the 1. was below all listings. Good grief.
I am so curious about what they were doing that could cause this.
Maybe it's a placeholder for an eventual second headline of some sort? I used to work with a web programmer who would add all sorts of weird placeholders & graphics onto websites for his testing purposes. And sometimes he forgot they were there when a page went live. I was reminded of him years ago when Etsy had that black ADMIN box on the home page for a day where sellers could click & get into the backend for looking at A/B testing for their shops. That was proof we're all guinea pigs here.
Just having 1. makes it look like the seller forgot to finish adding something to the end of the title.
So, 1. what? Available? Then why does it need the '.'?
