All listings on the listings page have a red banner: update required

Dear Etsy members,

As said in the title... all of them are having that red banner. While checking some listings, nothing seems wrong and there's no highlight of what actually needs to be updated. A glitch? Or do I need glasses whilst overlooking something? Somebody playing with buttons again by Etsy without having a clue what she/he is doing? Thanks in advance!

UK sellers had that last year. For us it meant they are taking away "other" from shipping. If you use that for shipping you will have to choose a service now, and have Etsy estimating arrival dates.

Open some listing with "Edit" and see if you should change the date in "About this listing" - "When did you make it?"

it started in France a few days ago, you could not edit from a listing, but needed to change your shipping profils.

l have had the same problem. Coincident with the sudden appearance of "update required" has been a total cessation of my sales, which were doing OK till then. l couldn't find any help from Etsy, of course- business as usual. 
   However, l went to edit shipping profile and in shipping service chose USPS. Had l had left that blank till now? Or is this another glitch like the promo code fiasco (which cost me a good chunk before they bothered to fix it-). Either way, now the red flags are gone. l hope this helps? And l hope my sales come back before my electric gets turned off.
