All listings Showing update required

I refreshed my listings page a moment ago and all my listings are saying they require an update. I have checked and this is something to do with the delivery profiles but when I try to update these I get a message saying this has been an error please contact Etsy support 

Im not sure how this has happened as I have made no changes to my listing / Delivery profiles recently and this only happened a few seconds ago 

Just want to know if this is happening to anyone else and/or if this is an issue currently.

So we should all just hold pattern (if selling POD?)??

"We’ve added some new shipping services and will need an update from your previous choice of “Other.”

"When you choose a specific service you can be confident buyers will see more accurate delivery dates, without any change to how you work. Don’t see your service? Choose an option that has a similar transit time."

I don't think it is a current known issue - it's the new rule.

I just chatted with support, they said the same as other had said, which is: do not select Other in delivery profiles, all the "Other" need to be changed to a pre-set choice. So i tried for one of our delivery profile, as within delivery profiles, we have different choices depending on the world region and also in upgrade, we had selected "Other" a lot so you cold overwrite the shipping company we use and also the transit time (1 to 3 days) for the USA for large items (over 2 kgs), sadly etsy does not offer that option. All the items under that profile now work, i was able to renew and the "update required" is no longer.

We need Etsy to add more choices to their drop-down, especially for the ones based in the UK and selling a lot to the USA, our fedex service is amazing here and now it won't show anymore on the listing when buyers click on it, they will see a long transit time despite using fedex for 1 to 3 days, it is beyond frustrating!

I looked at this and the Shipping profile that comes with POD shirts through Printify didn't seem to have a shipping class selection, it seemed baked into their shipping defaults... I am guessing / hoping that Printify will now need to change their shipping settings on their side and we may just need to sync their new shipping profile when they get it updated to meet Etsy's new rules. Printify is going to use their shipping system no matter what we select on Etsy in our listings... again just guessing on this but seems logical to me at this moment

Maybe this is just some glitch on Etsy side of things because Printify pushes this shipping profile to Etsy when you publish the listing and looking at the Printify side I don't see any options for selecting the class of service, it must be baked into the profile. I don't know the class of service either.

Those printify generated shipping profiles that are automatically created when you sync your shop all probably have 'other' as the shipping carrier. That is the issue.

It’s difficult enough for a newbie. Now they put a reserve on my account and 30% of sales are being reserved.

Beautiful Shop Karina ... 19 sales in just a few months.... I'm hoping I can get my first still. Yes I assume that WHEN I get my first sales that will happen to me. I hear you just have to contact them and pester them and once they see you aren't a scammer they stop doing that

The same thing happened to me. I heard it happens to everyone at some point. We can just get it over with and not have to worry about it later. (hopefully!)

Just FYI you could get in trouble for having Disney stuff in your shop. Be careful of trademark infringement!

I get the infringement. But that was’nt the issue why an update was required. They want us to update shipping profile. And a reserve was placed because I am a newbie and they do that for about 90 days and to make sure you include tracking etc.

I am just 4 days into opening my shop and this Cr@p is scaring me. Last night I published a listing and verified it showed ACTIVE ... Went over to Printify and it said Published and I go into my shop in the morning and it was completely gone .... And now this...I mean it is scary that the platform is so buggy

I can see it's a bigger problem, because I have it as well and I can see lots of people replying that they have this problem. Maybe it really is a bug?

I think so.... my shipping profiles are all set by Printify so it must be on Etsy side. I'm going to just leave everything as is and wait and hope it is fixed

"First Class" although First Class has actually been gone for months already.

 I just chatted with support and they confirmed it is a current known issue that they are working on. We shall see.

I predict this is yet another great use of Etsy's work force.  I started changing and I started thinking WTF?  It shouldn't have to be this difficult.  Micromanaging is not wanted !  Whatever it is it shouldn't require updating 4 pages of listings.
