All Items Not Showing in Etsy Mobile App

We have been experiencing a very grave technical area that despite multiple tickets with Etsy, has not been solved. We had a user reach out to us that all the items in our Etsy shop is removed. At first I thought maybe they did not have an updated app, so I checked on my end. I looked from my end and sure enough, nothing was there. On the desk top version everything is normal, I reached out to support and they recommended "I tell buyers to only use the desktop version" which is complete lunacy as 49% of our traffic comes from the Etsy app. 

Here's an interesting fact I have discovered: if I deactivate and then reactivate the listing, it will reappear in the shop for 24 hours. However, after the 24 hour period, it will disappear once again. This makes it disappear from both search terms and the store. As of this writing, and the problem happening a few weeks ago, we have seen a 70% YoY decline in sales. If anyone can help with this issue or get me in contact (above your regular email/chat rep) I would be eternally grateful as this is my livelihood and 70% decline YoY is huge given that before this issue, we were about 10% increase overall YoY.

I just saw another post about this and responded.  I put in a ticket for the exact same issue on Monday without knowing others are experiencing it as well.  It looks like it's a problem with the iphone Etsy app.  This is a huge problem since most people shop with the app and it explains why my sales have been terrible.  My shop is also not showing up on the search bar and I'm guessing it's not indexed.  This should be our busy season with the holidays right around the corner.

@BagmakerSupplyI think you're right.  I tried my shop name within my shop and nothing came up.  Some of my listing came up and some did not.  This really solves why I'm getting few views and even fewer sales.

I just had the problem since yesterday.

It seems I have to do the deactivate/activate thing everyday as well...When I select all listings to be "activated" , there is an error message saying "your listings are missing required delivery info that helps calculate estimated delivery dates. Update each listing to activate". Do you have such error messages? However, if I select listings page by page (40 listings each time), the error message does not come up.

I  have not opened any ticket about the "missing listings on app" with Etsy support yet. Is it worth doing it???Did they help resolving the issues for anyone of you here?

I sent a request to ETSY support.. Today I reactivated my listings, but after 6 hours, they were gone.

And, if I search my own shop name in APP, no result was shown.

I am now having this problem. I have about 630 items in my store and a whopping 18 show up!!! I am so angry. I spoke with customer no service and they said "thanks for letting us know- we prioritize by how many complaints we get" They just suck. I am so done!

What I noticed is, after I reactivated my listings, at first my listings (advertised or not advertised) will all appear in search. But after a few hours,only my advertised listings are shown in App.  Maybe they want to show their ad works so they only show my advertised listings? ( I recently increased my ad budget a lot). I often have a feeling that the sales go up after I decrease ad budget for a few days, maybe they had to show your normal listings when you do not run ads and the visits/sales then actually go up?

I read in another thread that it’s an indexing issue. I believe they have known about this since before August! 

No remedy as of yet. I am so done!

I have 1044 listings now, I just reactivated my listings and they are showing now.

This is currently happening to my shop as well. Only in the Etsy App. I have had several customers contact me. Not the best time of the year for this! Several of my friend are having this same issue. Etsy should be taking this seriously!

On the desktop they show only 20 pages of listings per keywords maybe the reason.

I’m having the same issue. I contacted them a couple of months ago and they said everything was fine on their end. It’s never been resolved and yes … clients have been contacting me also. Feeling deflated.

Perhaps this would explain why soooooo many of us who were solid sellers are experiencing sales down 50 to 75% this past year.  Mine currently is in the 70% range and sinking more.  I generally sell around $2500 to $3000 or more a month.  This year I have been lucky to sell $1000 and for at least 2 months not even that!  Today I have almost no visits or favorites.  That is ridiculous.  I have been thinking I was being blocked, but now I wonder if it is this?  Sales have been awful this whole year!

I’m having this issue too.  From what I can gather it’s only happening with iPhone/ipad (so 50% of phone users!) and is because it defaults to “relevance” sort on those.  If you change the sort order to “new releases” or “custom” etc all the items in your shop will appear.  Problem is customers don’t know this so just see a half empty shop.  It’s been going on for months so I dread to think just how many orders we’ve all lost.  This should be a priority for them but it seems it isn’t.
