Ads keeping my shop from easy viewing when it is searched for.

Shop owners check your shop.  I searched for my shop like a customer would and there were five rows of ads before my shop name even appeared. I saw ads for Yarn, Patterns, Fabric, Jewelry, and Wedding Hair Wreaths and Tiaras, before you could see my shop and my shop wasn't even on the first page.  A customer would have to scroll down to even see the link to my shop.  Ridiculous.  I have gone from about $400 the last to weeks to $40 since this started.  I get alot of repeat customers that search by my shop name, so this is not good.

I just did a search for your shop and it came right up - no ads, just your shop.

Mysteriously this morning when I checked it is back to normal.

Put your shop name in your tags, if you are known as "Simple Treasures".

Like Nana, when I searched "simpletreasures" and then lowered the cursor to "find shop names containing", yours came right up.

My Shop name is simpletreasures55 and I have been on etsy for many years.  My issue seems to have mysteriously fixed itself today.  I check regularly.  Once I found the price of an item on the customer side was higher than it showed in my seller side.  My attention was brought to it  because it was a weird amount that I never use.  It never hurts to check every once in a while.

We have not been able to put in a shop name only in the search bar for a long time now.  To look for a shop, use the shop name with no spaces and then click on the bottom drop down that says something like look for shop.....

If  a buyer is looking for a shop and does not use the drop down to select shop, when they see  results, at the top it asks if the buyer meant Shops named.

You can add your shop name as a tag if you want. 

Since this has been ongoing for some time chances are the slower sales is due to other factors such as school shopping, weather, finances, Etc.

Mysteriously my issue seems fixed today.  I have been on ETSY almost since its startup and I always search my shop like a customer every so often just to make sure everything is running as it should.  One it found one of my items listed showed a different price as a customer viewing as showed in my shop.  The customer price was higher.  Not good.  Need to keep an eye on your shop.
