I have periodically noticed that my search terms go to zero and then return to normal a few hours later, but today I have particularly noticed it because I had an unusual spike of 11 sales in 2 hours and then my ad search terms zeroed and I have now had zero visits for the last 4 hours. I noticed it because it was unusual for me to have so many sales all at once with things being so slow these days, so I was looking closely at my data to see what had changed. It looks as if my visits stopped at the same time all my ads went to zero. I wonder if the spike in sales triggered it and I wonder if that also means I don’t get visits/clicks directed here when the ad search terms are at 0. My conversion rate today is 11% when it usually between 2 and 3% - it feels as if I am being punished for having had a good day/the algorithm changes suiting me for a few hours. I just wish there was more openness and transparency about what is happening behind the scenes - this messing about is frustrating in the extreme.
